Housing is a Human Right OC (HHROC) extends our deepest gratitude to The California Endowment and Orange County Congregation Community Organization for believing in our mission and investing in our work. Your confidence and trust have been transformative, enabling us to amplify the voices of those most impacted by the housing crisis and to advocate fearlessly for systemic change.
With your support, HHROC has been able to advocate powerfully through op-eds that reach thousands of readers, deliver public comments at County and City council meetings where critical housing decisions are made, and coordinate food share events that serve our food-insecure neighbors while prioritizing those experiencing homelessness. These efforts are not isolated acts of service—they are interconnected strategies toward justice, rooted in the understanding that survival needs and systemic advocacy must go hand in hand.
At the heart of our work is a fundamental truth: Housing is Healthcare. When people lack stable housing, their physical health deteriorates, mental health crises deepen, and access to medical care becomes nearly impossible. We cannot heal our communities without ensuring that every person has a safe place to call home. This principle guides every op-ed we write, every testimony we deliver, and every meal we share. It is the lens through which we challenge policies that criminalize poverty and champion solutions that center human dignity.
Together, we are building a movement that refuses to accept housing insecurity as inevitable. The California Endowment and Orange County Congregation Community Organization have made it possible for HHROC to stand at the intersection of direct service and policy advocacy, meeting immediate needs while fighting for long-term solutions. Your partnership strengthens our resolve and expands our reach.
Thank you again for standing with us and thank you for believing that housing is not a privilege, but a human right.
Proudly supported by The California Endowment and
Orange County Congregation Community Organization.
